Soft Drinks Healthy Risks

Soft drinks Healthy Risks
Since the discovery of soft drinks in the United States in 1830 , consumption continues to rise sharply and constant from year to year . The increase in consumption is not only true in the U.S. , but also in other countries around the world .

Drinks smelling soft drinks is not without risk . Behind the freshness and convenience of soft drinks stored various substances health destroyer . Soft drinks contain artificial dyes , have a chemical smell carbonate , phosphoric acid , sweetener , preservatives and caffeine . In addition , it also contains too much sugar .

Some of the risks that can result from consuming soft drinks are as follows :

1 . Obesity
Obesity is a disease of overweight at least 75 percent of the ideal weight . Obesity is a major factor in the increased risk of diabetes , especially type 2 diabetes and cardiovascular disease .

The main cause of obesity is excessive food consumption , without balanced physical activity and exercise . Excessive consumption of foods that contribute a lot of energy ( which is useless ) into the body . Other causes of obesity is hereditary ( genetic ) .

2 . Cancer Esophagus ( Esophagus )
Food and drink into the body will affect the risk of developing cancer .
A study conducted in the United States by a team of Tata Memorial Hospital , India , showed that the increase in consumption of carbonated soft drinks followed by a rise in cases of esophageal cancer .

The research team concluded that the rise in cases of esophageal cancer is associated with increasing consumption of soft drinks . Their conclusion is also supported by a strong biological basis of the results of other studies .

Carbonated drinks cause the stomach to swell and partially ejects back towards the esophagus . This process is known to be associated with cancer formation .

3 . Hypertension
In A study found a relationship between hypertension by consuming caffeinated cola , regardless of whether it contains sugar or not . In this study also examined the effect of soft drinks other than colas .
4 . Weaken Immune System
The sugar in soft drinks is one reason why frequent colds and infections at the habitue . A scientist has proved and demonstrated that sugar can hinder the body's ability to fight bacteria .

Soft drinks that contain 12 teaspoons of sugar , enough to weaken the ability of white blood cells to protect the body from bad bacteria . That is equal to 60 percent for as long as 5 hours . When you frequently consume soft drinks every day and other sugary foods cause the white blood cells do not work effectively for a few hours each day .

5 . Bone Health and Osteoporosis
Soft drinks do not always lead to osteoporosis . There are various factors and mechanisms underlying the occurrence of osteoporosis . The risk of osteoporosis in contrast to the strength of the bone mass has been established before a person becomes a consumer of soft drinks .

Soft drinks that have high levels of phosphoric acid led to an increase in the intake of phosphorus in the body . This leads to disruption of the balance ratio that results in inhibition of calcium absorption that affects bone loss and eventually osteoporosis .

Caffeine in soft drinks can accelerate the disposal of calcium through the urine . It is also the increasingly favor low calcium intake on consumers of soft drinks ( Jacobson , 2003; Field , 2003) .

6 . Damaged Teeth
Refined sugar holds many roles in causing tooth decay . Consumers soft drinks always expose their teeth with sugar from soft drinks throughout the day .

A study conducted in 1974 , found a positive correlation between the frequency of consumption of soft drinks to the severity of tooth decay , especially in children. This invention is quite surprising because the researchers also have taken into account the consumption of other sweet foods , but still found that the soft drinks most contribute to causing tooth decay ( Jacobson , 2003) .
7 . Cardiovascular Disease
The main cause of heart disease or other cardiovascular disease is the consumption of foods high in cholesterol and saturated fats , smoking , and a relaxed lifestyle with minimal physical activity . Other causes huge risk in adults is excessive sugar consumption .

Decomposition of sugar carbohydrates will immediately increase blood triglyceride levels . High levels of blood triglycerides and then associated with a high risk of heart disease .

8 . Kidney Stones
Kidney stones are crystals of calcium in the presence of the condition of the kidneys . The crystals can form calcium oxalate , calcium phosphate , and calcium citrate .

The mechanism of occurrence of kidney stones is very consistent with the mechanism of occurrence of osteoporosis . Balance disorder causes calcium absorption ratio becomes obstructed and causes calcium to become insoluble . As a result , calcium settles in the kidneys in the form of complex crystals . This crystalline precipitate which gradually enlarged and transformed into kidney stones .

Well ... it turns out to consume soft drinks have an adverse risk for our bodies khan . So , from now on we need to reduce consumption of soft drinks before it 's too late ! ! !
